Description

Let’s face it – most caregivers are ill-prepared for the common sexual behaviors of individuals living with dementia!  In this session, our expert trainer will review residents’ need for intimacy, and how intimacy differs from sexuality. We will examine the brain changes that occur in dementia that cause the unusual sexual behaviors, as well as many suggestions and ideas for responding with kindness and respect when such behaviors occur.

The seminar will be held from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Tuesday, June 28th at The Hampton Inn & Suites (876 Schechter Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). Cost is $30.

This session has been approved by NAB/NCERS for a total of 2.0 CEUs for NHAs, ALAs, and PCHAs!
