“Understanding Lewy Body Dementia” Webinar – December 14, 2021 (1:00pm-2:30pm)

This webinar will shed some light on what makes this type of dementia – which is becoming more and more commonly diagnosed – different from Alzheimer’s disease, and how to best support an individual who is living with it.

Lewy Body Dementia is the second most commonly diagnosed dementia-related disease (after Alzheimer’s), but very few caregivers know much about it. This session will define what LBD is and review the two types. It will outline the brain changes of the disease, including how those changes impact behavior, communication, and body movement. Also covered will be best practices for supporting individuals living with Lewy Body Dementia.

The webinar will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am (Eastern Standard Time) Tuesday, December 14th via Zoom. Cost is $45.

This session has been approved by NAB/NCERS for 1.5 CEUs.
