Learn what “caregiver fatigue” is and how to counteract its affects.  Ideal for individuals who have worked many years in the long-term care industry!

Categories: ,

This popular session reviews the difference between “compassion fatigue” and “burnout” and allows attendees to assess their own levels of both, and determine what their individual signs of stress overload look like.  The class introduces ways to counteract the negative effects of being a long-term care professional, including use of deep-breathing and mindfulness exercises, time management techniques, and humor.

This session is being held at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences (850 Greenfield Road, just off Route 30 in Lancaster County) from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. NAB approval is pending for 3.0 CEUs for NHAs and PCHAs.
